The Idea Exploration Portal (IEP) will guide and enhance human imagination, intuition, and insight, for the purpose of innovating.

The IEP will help composers, creators, designers, discoverers, explorers, inventors, leaders ... and young minds, to find fruitful ideas for their innovation goal, within ecosystems of cooperating and competing ideas.

What We Do

The Idea Exploration Portal (IEP) will provide two kinds of Web Services:

  • Idea Exploration
  • Idea Sharing
to guide & enhance the human imagination, intuition, and insight for innovating, and to preserve precious human ideas and skills.
When innovating, our imagination, intuition, and insight are guided by heuristics, as well as basic forms of reasoning: selection, generalization, metaphor, analogy, abstraction and induction. 
All these inventive forms of reasoning involve a transfer of patterns between Idea Spaces.  The IEP facilitates these pattern transfers, to spawn innovative ideas.
Fast & frugal decision heuristics based on stable empirical evidence (clues) are exploited for both Idea Sharing & Idea Exploration.
The focus is on information quality (satisfying special logical and empirical conditions), not on information quantity.   This focus allows for compact and efficient AI algorithms.
